1. What is a typical charge for your services?

We charge on an hourly or daily basis for personal assistance (e.g. correspondence, phone calls, visits). Sometimes we will agree with an organization to charge on a fixed price project basis. We do not charge for the initial enquiry/consultation. Any expenses incurred during a visit arising from an assignment (e.g. travel, hotel accommodation, etc.) are additional costs paid by the customer. The invoiced charges to an organization typically vary from USD1,000 to USD30,000 depending on the work involved in preparing documentation, reports, presentations, and whether the information provided is mature or emerging technology.

2. Do you provide recipes suitable for resin manufacturing equipment in under-developed countries?

Most resin formulations and technologies require specific manufacturing equipment. We may be able to adapt these to suit local equipment availability, but this aspect requires early recognition and discussion on what can be achieved (e.g. with regard to quality assurance).

4. Are you able to provide a resin formulation that matches the performance of resin XXXXX of YYYYY company in USA?

5. Do you provide training for chemists and production people in the use of the formulations and technology that you provide?

Sometimes technical training is requested by an organization, and this can be arranged to suit the needs & capabilities of the people involved. A training programme is often undertaken to coincide with a consultant's supervision of the first production batches of any new product or technology. We undertake training in English. However, we have experience with the training of personnel that are speaking English as a second language.

6. Can you assess our products and processes and show us where we can make cost savings?

We are sometimes asked to do appraisals, or benchmark the existing technology of a company. Even a short visit (2-3 days) will highlight cost saving opportunities that more than offsets the cost of the consultant.
